Peep Show – [free] Porn & Comedy

Every second Wednesday, Zac Brooks and I co-host a show where we watch vintage porn (it’s censored, TABC – we knowwww) with some of our friends in the Austin comedy scene. Come watch porn with strangers and friends at Peep Show, Wednesday July 11 at 9pm. It’s free and the lineup is amazing! Joe Hafkey, Elizabeth Spears, Lea’h Sampson & Hunter Duncan, oh boy! See you there!

When We Were Young 7/9

Wow – One of my favorite comedy shows in Austin, and I’m on it!! The show’s hosts, Zac Brooks & Andrew Cooksey find childhood photos of the stand up comics (in a non-creepy way) and talk to them about growing up. So much of comedy comes from a bizarre youth, so obviously – this show works. Spider House Ballroom has comedy every Monday night and this is one of the monthly showcases. I’ll be back at Spider House on Wednesday for Peep Show, too! Check out both shows. Nick Saverino is on every month because his mom and Zac have a friendship where she sends him all of Nick’s childhood. Mitch Mekulsia, to my knowledge, has always been an adult man, and Pat Dean is still a baby, just with a teddy bear body.

Check out When We Were Young – Monday 7/9 at 9:30 at Spider House Ballroom

Turnt @ Kick Butt Coffee 7/9

Oh yo ho, hello there! I’m trying desperately to watch Nanette (third time) and give a shit enough to stay awake (why is she saying “VanGoff”?), but in the meantime, I wanted to share that I’m doing Turnt Comedy Showcase at Kick Butt Café Monday, July 9 at 9pm – FREE, y’all! Hosted by Derek Kopszywa & Ashley Overton, I get to share the stage with a great line up of Sahana Srinivasan, Martin Henn, Evan Rabalias, & Austen Silver!
